I actually found out about toe and started listening to them through their work on the Sonny Boy anime, they immediately caught my ear for just how different they were from the music you typically hear in anime. Ever since then I’ve been a fan and I’m looking forward to finally experiencing a new album from them for the first time. It’ll definitely be interesting seeing what direction they take this one in.
Oooh once again I’m totally unaware a band I follow was releasing an album, I’d be missing out if it weren't for this heads up lol. Love how intense Sokoninaru and their music tends to be, they make for such a nice change of pace from the music I typically listen to. I have no doubt this one is gonna end up being such a wild listen all the way through!
As for albums I’m looking forward to:
I probably sound like a broken record by now but I’m really looking forward to yet another Yuka Nagase release lol. This time a collab EP with indie band bearwear coming out at the end of July. I have no idea what to expect this time around but I’m sure it’ll be interesting at the very least.
I’m also looking forward to Regallily’s upcoming 3rd album in late August, I’ve enjoyed their work pretty consistently so I’m sure this one is also gonna be worth a listen.

I found out about toe very early on in my music listening thanks to a college friend recommending them to me after they saw I was a fan of UchuConbini, lol, and true enough in the years since then I never would have thought them to ever be in an anime (XD) I'm glad they did though as they were able to get newer fans such as yourself interested in their work.
Been waiting for sokoninaru's time in the sun and it's looking like that time is now. Very happy that they got an anime spot themselves this year as well. Rightfully deserved, and imho a long time coming since they're always coming out with pedal to the floor bangers.
You say that, but I do have to thank you for putting me on Yuka Nagase too! I reeaaally liked that EP she had with SASAKRECT (... I just now realized that Platinum Disco, my fave song off of Kitto Patto, was by maeshima soshi and OHTORA, who were the same people involved with ASU's Blue Night Darling which I also love, lol) and after hearing her Basilisk single with Bearwear I'm also now looking forward to that collab EP. I actually thought that single was gonna be the extent of that collab so likewise thanks for the heads up that there's actually more coming :P
Regalily came up huge after 86 -eightsix- and it's been a real treat seeing them now beloved by so many fans. Always admired their sense and understanding of Rock and just music in general so def gonna be on the look out for that one as well.
